Tilburg – 013

 Tilburg in the Netherlands is a place I have been to several times. And I like it a lot. The street outside the venue is filled with bars and fastfoodresturants and takes you to a beautiful square, only five minutes away. Leaves covered the ground, as everywhere else right now, and it was freezing cold outside. Already when we woke up in the morning there was a good line outside of the maindoors of 013. Pre-sales on this show pointed in the direction of 'sold out' so not much could go wrong tonight.

Even if I've been here before I still got lost in the maze of stairs and corridors to get from the stage to the loading-bay and then backstage. I don’t know how many times I was surprised to end up somewhere completely different than I intended to. Its was hard not to draw similarities with 'Spinal Tap' sometimes. The venue room its self was awesome though, and not confusing at all. The whole room is just a long staircase which makes it possible for the whole crowd to see everything really well. It looks awesome from the stage if anything with peoples in different levels all around the room.

I had two video teams at the show tonight, so hopefully I´ll have a little something to post here from the shows ASAP. There were also two EASTPAK promotion girls at the venue tonight handing out everything from t shirts and bags to stickers and pins. We were even throwing t-shirts out from the stage during The Ghost Inside's set. The promogirls needed to leave for the trains and I went with them a bit on their way. That was the biggest mistake of the night. I was supposed to be the judge of the toiletpaper throwing competition during A Day To Remember's set. The Ghost Inside were on one side of the stage and Living With Lions on the other. Apparently one of the members also stagedived dressed like Yoda... Yikes.. What a miss!

I came right in time to see Jeremy in the inflatable ball running from the stage, into the crowd and ALL the way around the soundboard in the middle of the room and then back again. It was sick! When he came back on stage again, all he did was laugh. So sick!
