Munich, 9/11, 2011

Its cold again. I can just imagine how cold Sweden probably is right now. And the fact that this is the final stretch of the tour makes it unevitable that you start think about home. Everyone here on our bus does.
This was also the last EASTPAK antidote tour show in Germany ever so I must say that it felt a bit weird. Klaas, who has been the EASTPAK Germany boss for this tour since it started was at the show getting a bit drunk with me. And we had quite an amazing show together. Munich definetly knew how to celebrate this evening with us.
Tonhalle is a cool building completely covered in graffiti. Its a perfect sized venue with a roof that kind of got me the vibe that we were playing a tentstage today. Would have been awfully cold... I took the first shower I've had in a few days in Living With Lions dressingroom and got out in good time to see them warm up for their set. As usual they were playing a couple of aucoustic songs and sang along to it the loudest they could. The opening band for the night were playing downstairs doing a fantastic job. From Constant Vision had a cool sound that had both the energy of Danko Jones as well as a bit of a metalcore influence. I heard some of the crewmembers declaring it to be the best sounding openers so far on this tour. We still have a few left, and I'm positive that they´ll all rule too. The opening competition is in my eyes such a great success since it makes us all check new bands out, seeing something new and different every night.
After the show me and some newfound friends took a walk to a resturant for a midnight snack. I like to be out walking some time during the day, otherwise it all gets a bit too routine everyday - like a normal job almost.
